A trick to making luscious and creamy hot chocolate without dairy is to use canned coconut milk – you won’t taste the coconut! For a minty twist, you can also mix in 1/4 tsp peppermint extract.

Instructions

Roughly chop up your chocolate bar, and add it to a small saucepan along with the coconut milk. Turn the heat to medium, and as the chocolate melts, mix together constantly until it blends into the coconut milk. Once it’s evenly combined, turn heat to medium low and mix in the oat milk. Stir until oat milk is evenly incorporated and a thick chocolate mixture has formed. Pour into mugs and enjoy! (Optional: use vegan marshmallows and a blow torch to scorch them).
